  1. you can use gluten free oatmeal from a health food store..also use stevia instead of honey as honey has LOTS of calories and stevia has almost none plus it doesnt impart a strong taste either. bananas are not good for weight loss use a whole apple in there instead. you can also add small amt of unsweetened fruit juice i use Oasis Tropical Passion. this shake holds me nicely until non or 1pm easily. you can add 1 lg tbsp powdered egg protein also.

  2. Great recipe!!!! Never thought about adding oats in a smoothie because I actually hate eating oatmeal….. But in a smoothie I can't even notice it. Great to drink after a workout too I feel so full lol

  3. I've been making this smoothie with yogurt in it. Never tried it with oatmeal. But what I've noticed is that it does not stay fresh in the container for the 30-40 minutes of drive that I make to work every morning. Any suggestions to keep it fresh longer?
